Bing
The Bing variety excels in flavour and eating quality. Firm, with a sweet, vibrant flavour. Juicy purplish flesh, with dark burgundy skin. Exceptionally large and firm fruit, fine quality.

Bing is a cultivar of cherry that originated in the United States. The cultivar was developed in the 1870s by horticulturist Seth Lewelling and his Manchurian Chinese foreman Ah Bing, for whom the cultivar is named. American Natives first discovered the cherry in about 1530 A.D. They used it as a cure for certain ailments. They believed it had a special healing power because of its bright red colour.

Chelan
Chelan is a stocky, short stemmed, shiny almost black cherry. It has moderate sugar levels tending towards a sweet, yet spicy flavour. Pleasantly surprising rewarding the cherry lover with sweet firm crunch.
Lapin
This unique dark red cherry is a result of a Stella cross, making it self-fertile. Lapins fruit is resistant to cracking, it is large in size, and has good flavour. This variety can be massive in size and taste.
Rainer
Rainier was created in 1952 at Washington State University by Harold Fogle. It is a cross between the Bing and Van cultivars.

Rainiers are sweet with creamy-yellow flesh. The cherries are very sensitive to temperature, wind, and rain. Rainiers are considered a premium type of cherry.
Ron
Dark (almost black) in colour, but pleasantly surprising cherry which rewards the adventurous cherry lover. This is a very popular cherry.
Sam
A dark red cherry, 'melt in the mouth' soft flesh with creamy texture. Very juicy and extremely sweet. One of Tasmania's early harvest and it's a wonderful delight for the first taste of the Tassie season.
Stella
A red heart-shaped cherry that is well-flavoured and sweet. Mid red skin with lighter flesh and large in size. These cherries can be huge, they look great and have a meaty dark texture.
Sweetheart
As the name suggests, they are sweet and heart-shaped. Sweetheart has a mild, sweet flavour and outstanding firmness. A large, bright red cherry that is heart-shaped, delicious and is redder in colour.
Van
Van is a stocky, short stemmed, shiny red cherry produced in volume. It has moderate sugar levels tending towards a sweet, yet spicy flavour.
Vista
Dark in colour, but pleasantly surprising cherry which rewards the cherry lover with sweet firm flesh. This is a very popular cherry. This variety can be huge in size.
